These unique trailer tents were originally designed for bikers who wanted more comfort whilst camping and touring the open road but
have proved a popular choice for car owners looking for a compact and easily managed trailer tent option.
CampMaster 2 and 4
both utilise the same trailer but the CampMaster 4 provides an additional space of 1.2 x 3m (approx.). An optional 2-berth inner tent
is available for this space, which allows the CampMaster to sleep up to 4.
The CampMaster can't really be compared with anything else on the market. It is what motorcyclists and small car owners have been waiting for. It's a quality tent in a superb trailer, which is easy to pitch and designed for all weather use.
When erected, you wouldn't actually realise that this is a trailer tent at all, as the trailer is completely encompassed by the tent canvas, but the trailer does, nonetheless, provide an off the ground double bed for its occupants.
In the pictures, above, we see the trailer tent set up in both configurations. The blue tent is the Camp Master 2, and the green tent is the Camp Master 4, with the additional 2 berth extension. Unlike many trailer tents and folding campers, there is an element of compromise on the bed front, insofar as there is no mattress in the Camp Master, and the beds are made up by placing inflatable mattresses on the bed boards, once opened out.
Currently, price is listed as; £POA. It is unclear from the Camperlands web site whether or not these models remain in production.
