The Campmaster Drenthe is a pre-2013 model and now only available second hand. The original Campmasters were designed for bikers who wanted more comfort whilst camping and touring the open road. The Campmaster Drenthe is now so well balanced and designed it can be towed by small cars, large cars, motorcycles, quad bikes, trikes and scooters over 150cc.

The CampMaster can't really be compared with anything else on the market. It is exactly what the market has been waiting for - a lightweight trailer tent which can be towed by 99% of vehicles. It's a quality tent in a superb trailer which is easy to pitch and designed for all weather use (within reason). The CampMaster is no small wonder and does the job like nothing else can.

The Drenthe is similar, in many ways, to the Camp Master 2, however, the latter seems to represent a shift towards the independently pitched tent, for Camp Master. The Drenthe canvas was attached to, and was an integral part of, the trailer. The newer Camp Master models all pitch independently, and the trailer is place inside, to act as the main bed / storage.
