The Sunncamp Holiday range is comprised of a number of models, each containing the word 'holiday', followed by a number (representing the awning depth in cm) and either 'S', or 'SE'.
The Holidays were, normally, thought of as an entry level model. This is not down to build quality, but, more, equipment levels, which, by modern standards are, relatively, basic. The SE model does include a kitchen which is basic, but functional, but neither model includes items such as additional internal storage (under seat lockers are provided) or zip in ground sheet. In spite of this entry level reputation, owner satisfaction appears to be very high and resale prices remain bouyant.
Most Holidays are distinguished by their protruding kitchen area on the right hand side (viewed from the front). Early models were, primarily produced in green and white or blue and white, with later, acrylic, models being, primarily a two tone grey and white. All models seem to have shared the same geometrical patterned curtains and soft furnishings, throughout their life, making them a little difficullt to date, based, purely, on outward appearance.
The Holiday Air Volution 300 is the first of its kind, and a significant step forward in trailer tent design. When folded, the trailer looks like any other Sunncamp model, and the main cabin sets up like any other model, however, that is where the similarity ends. The awning, itself, features fully inflatable Air Volution air beams, which completely replace the metal poles of previous models, thereby significantly improving setup and take down times. At the moment, there is no other trailer tent like it, as you can see from the videos at the foot of the page.
Like the vast majority of the earlier, poled, models, the Air Volution 300 is 420cm wide. The main trailer section is 220cm deep, and the zip on awning is, as the name suggests, a further 300cm deep. In addition, there is a 200cm zip on canopy, which further adds to the accommodation. This does, also, mean that the trailer can be used with either the awning, the canopy, or both, giving greater flexibility of accommodation, depending on the length and circumstances of the stay.
