In 2000, Sunncamp introduced two folding camper models; the Millenium 1000 and the Millenium 2000, being four and six berth models, respectively. They were two of only three folding campers ever produced by the company, and were only produced for that short period, in order to mark (as the name suggests) the new millenium.
Both models came in the distinctive green and yellow external colour scheme and light wood interior. These days, they are pretty few and far between, especially the Millenium 1000.
The Millenium 2000 was a traditional layout, six berth folding camper model, with side door, kitchen opposite, and dinette seating, to the rear of the camper. At either end was a fixed double bed, with the front one being a king size. The 2000 was a direct competitor to the likes of the Pennine Sterling / Pullman, Conway Cruiser, Trigano Randger 575LX etc.
The 2000 came with both 12V and 240V electrics, cold water system, three way refridgerator and cooker, with two burner hob and grill. The awning was 565cm wide x 250cm deep, so a very spacious additional floor area, and came with its own roof liner.
Due to its very short production period, and low numbers, information and paperwork is pretty scarce on this model. Some of the weights and dimensions have been taken from private adverts selling second hand models, and are not, currently verified by ourselves. If anyone does have any official paperwork, or other information on this model, we would be very pleased to hear from them.
