The Jamet Louisiana is a traditional style trailer tent, from Jamet, in the vein of the Arizona and Dakota models, however, it is slightly smaller than the arizona, making it a little easier to transport, but it does include many of the features that make the Arizona a particularly well equiped model, such as zipped in ground sheet, slatted beds and separate compartments for kitchen, wardrobe and toilet.

 

The AS / All Season model is so called due to its use of acrylic canvas, as opposed to the more traditional cotton canvases of most other manufacturers. This significantly improve its insulation properties, allows it to shed water more effectively and makes it easier to clean. The only minor disadvantage, when compared to cotton canvas models is that ventilation is not as effective with the acrylic canvases.

 

The awning has a zip off front panel, which can be fully removed, should the weather permit, as can both side panels. It also comes with an awning extension.

 

There is a decent amopunt of storage in the Louisiana, under the slatted beds, in the zipped compartments under the beds and in the kitchen unit, itself.

 

The Louisiana comes with a comprehensive kitchen, with pumped water, three burner hob (no grill) and plenty of storage space. It is rear mounted for easy acess / usage, on brief layby stopovers, en route.

 

UK pricing is difficult to ascertain, as the Camperlands web site currently shows the entire Jamet range as; "POA", however, in Europe, the 2016 Louisiana model retails at around the 6,750 Euro mark.
